We are currently looking for:
Customs and Foreign Trade Specialist
(m/f/d) full-time
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring correct and complete import customs clearance in compliance with customs valuation regulations
- Supporting the purchasing and sales departments in all processes from a customs law perspective
- Preparation of export documentation in compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations (commercial invoices, export declarations, delivery notes, preference certificates, certificates of origin)
- General administrative tasks in the area of outbound logistics
- Customs Clearance
- Preparation of shipping documents for all deliveries, including freight forwarder registration
- Reviewing and complying with country-specific requirements and preparing or requesting the relevant export accompanying documents, certificates of origin, certificates, and related documentation
- Communication and coordination with internal departments, customers, and service providers, as well as with the relevant authorities (customs / chambers of commerce)
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Business Administration / Certified Finance Specialist (m/f/d) or a very well completed commercial vocational training with several years of experience in the field of customs law
- Sound knowledge of customs law, customs valuation law, tariff classification, and preference calculation
- Documented further training in customs law and customs valuation law
- Confident use of common MS Office applications
- Very good command of German and English (additional foreign language skills are an advantage)
- Resilience and an independent, structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility
- Communication and coordination with internal departments, customers, and service providers, as well as with the relevant authorities (customs / chambers of commerce)
